In A Day There Is A Land Fire In 3 Locations In Sukabumi

SUKABUMI - The Sukabumi Regency Fire and Rescue Service (DPKP), West Java noted that on Tuesday, (26/9) a land fire broke out in three different locations in the local area.

"All land locations that experienced the fire have been successfully extinguished and there have been no casualties or injuries in this incident," said Head of the SukabumI Regency DPKP, Burhanudin's money, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, September 26.

The three locations of the incident, namely in Simpangsari Village, RT 01/03 Curugkembar Village/Sub-district. The fire of the barang-alang land covering an area of 400 square meters belonging to this resident almost spread to residential areas, but it was successfully extinguished by the Fire Station VI Sagaranten DPKP Sukabumi Regency.

"It took about 30 minutes to extinguish the fire and fortunately the fire did not spread to residential areas," said Commander of the VI Fire Station Team Sagaranten Iswandi Farid.

Then, the fires on the minang-alang land and bamboo plantations in Lio Pamikiran Village, RT 02/01 Cireunghas Village/Sub-district with a burned area of about 2 thousand square meters. The fire in the alang-alang and bamboo plantations also occurred in Peundeuy Village, Kulon Karawang, RT 01/12, Karawang Village, Sukabumi District.

Danton Posko VI Sukaraja Ade Feri said to extinguish the fire that burned the logs and bamboo clumps in Lio Pamikiran Village, his party could only use makeshift tools because the fire engines could not penetrate the location.

Meanwhile, for land fires in Pendeuy Village, it was carried out by spraying water from fire engines. For the cause of the fire, his party is still investigating.

He also appealed to residents not to carry out activities that have the potential for fires such as burning garbage, land or logs and others. In addition, if they know of a fire incident, they should immediately report to the nearest firefighters so that the fire can be extinguished immediately.
