Viral British Caucasians Push Police In Bali Sentenced To 1 Month In Prison With Experimental Period

DENPASAR - A foreigner (WNA) from England named Adam Alexander Murray (29) who fought back by slapping a member of the Denpasar Police Traffic Unit, Bali, was sentenced to one month in prison with a probationary period of 3 months in prison.

The Head of Public Relations of the Bali Police, Kombes Jansen avitus Panjaitan, explained that the Denpasar District Court (PN) sentenced Adam Alexander to one month in prison with three months of probation in court on Friday, September 22.

"After completing the trial, the defendant Adam Alexander was immediately handed over and secured by the Immigration Class II Ngurah Rai, for further processing," said Kombes Jansen.

Adam Alexander was prosecuted in the aftermath of the case against the police while on duty to examine the defendant when violating traffic in front of the Police Post on Sunset Road Kuta Street, some time ago.

Kombes Jansen also stated that recently foreigners often drive recklessly and violate traffic, such as not wearing helmets using rental or rental motorbikes.

"To owners of rental or motorbike rental businesses. We urge them to return before renting out motorbikes to both Indonesian citizens and especially foreigners, to provide education or understanding about applicable traffic rules and must be obeyed in Indonesia," said Kombes Jansen.
