1,500 Joint Personnel Anticipate HGU Conflict In Central Lampung

BANDAR LAMPUNG - Lampung Police deployed 1,500 joint personnel from the National Police, TNI, and Satpol PP to anticipate the land processing conflict of rights to use business (HGU) between PT Bumi Sentosa Abadi (PT BSA) and a number of community groups in Central Lampung Regency.

"This land security deployed as many as 1,500 joint personnel from the National Police, TNI, and Satpol PP to anticipate the outbreak of conflicts during the activity," said Head of Public Relations of the Lampung Police, Kombes Umi Fadillah, as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, September 21.

He said the HGU land owned by PT BSA was located in three villages, namely Kampung Negara Aji Tua, Kampung Bumi Aji and Kampung Negara Aji Baru.

"The Lampung Police have carried out land security carried out by PT BSA in Puta Tuha District, Central Lampung which is claimed by a number of community groups in this sub-district," he said.

The land security activity in Central Lampung took place conducively without any friction between the security forces and residents at the location.

"Security activities run smoothly without any significant fanfare," he said.

In securing the land, PT BSA prioritizes persuasive efforts to the community, so that personnel in the field are not allowed to carry firearms.

"Alhamdulillah, PT BSA's land security activities are running safely and conducive today," he said.
