Bogor Police Hands Over Police Shooting Case Files To The Prosecutor's Office

Bogor Resort Police handed over the shooting case of Brigadier Dua Ignatius Dwi Frisco Sirage or Bripda IDF (20) by fellow police to the District Attorney's Office (Kejari) of Bogor Regency, West Java.

"It has been delegated, but P21 has not yet, maybe next week," said Bogor Police Chief AKBP Rio Wahyu Anggoro as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, September 15.

The Bogor Resort Police in this case prioritizes the proof of the criminal incident, the way is through reconstruction to clarify the material and criminal events that occur.

Regarding whether or not there was an element of intent, according to him, it will be proven in court.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Bogor District Attorney's Office, Sri Kuncoro, said that the first stage file had been received, but his party returned the file to the Bogor Police Station to be completed.

"The first stage file has been received, but it is still incomplete, so it is returned to the investigators," said Kuncoro.

Previously, Bripda IDF was shot dead by an illegal homemade firearm on Sunday (23/7) at the Police Flat, Cikeas, Bogor Regency, West Java.

Two members of the National Police from the Special Detachment (Densus) 88 Anti-terror Police have been named as suspects, namely Bripda IMS and Bripka IG. Both were declared to have violated the code of ethics for the category of serious violations and the criminal act of Article 338.

Bripda IMS is subject to Article 338 or Article 359 of the Criminal Code and/or Law Number 12 of 1951. Meanwhile, the suspect Bripka IG is subject to Article 338 in conjunction with Article 56 and/or Article 359 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 56 of the Criminal Code and/or the Emergency Law Number 12 of 1951.

Both face the death penalty, or life imprisonment or a temporary prison sentence of up to 20 years.
