Ferdy Sambo And Putri Candrawati Move Prisons, The Reason They Want To Be Developed

JAKARTA - The former Head of the Propam Polri Division, Ferdy Sambo, has been transferred to the Cibinong Correctional Institution (Lapas) which was previously placed in the Salemba Class II A Prison.

Head of the Public Relations Section of the Directorate General of Pas Kemenkumham, Rika Aprianti, said the transfer had been carried out since August 29, 2023, then.

"On August 29, Ferdy Sambo was moved to Cibinong Prison," Rika said in a short message, Tuesday, September 12.

Not only that, the wife of Putri Candrawathi was also transferred to the Class II A prison in Tangerang.

"Putri Candrawati at the Class IIa prison in Tangerang," she said

Rika explained that the reason Putri Candrawathi and Ferdy Sambo were transferred to prisons to undergo further coaching.

"With the consideration of coaching," he concluded.

Previously, Putri Candrawathi was executed at the Pondok Bambu Penitentiary, East Jakarta.

The execution process after the Supreme Court (MA) decided to cut Putri Candrawathi's criminal sanction from 20 years to 10 years in prison.

"Yes, that's right, (executed) according to the SOP," said South Jakarta District Attorney Syarief Sulaeman when confirmed, Thursday, August 24.

The execution process for Putri Candrawathi was carried out on Wednesday, August 23.
