Prabowo Subianto: Joining PKB In The Change Coalition Is Part Of The Democracy Process

JAKARTA - The presidential candidate from the Forward Indonesia Coalition (KIM) Prabowo Subianto responded to the joining of the National Awakening Party (PKB) to the Coalition for Change for Unity is part of the democratic process. The General Chairperson of the Gerindra Party is of the opinion that in the end the people as voters will judge and choose their leaders for the next five years during the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres). "Democracy is a process of discussion, meeting, sometimes separating, yes. We do good for the people, the people who judge. The people judge every act, every speech, and the people are not stupid. We leave everything to the people," said Prabowo's Declaration of the Indonesian Gelora Party Supporting Prabowo Subianto as the 2024-2029 Presidential Candidate in Jakarta, Saturday. Prabowo also stated that he did not agree if the joining of the Indonesian Gelora Party to KIM as a substitute for PKB which was outside of the coalition previously called the Greater Indonesia Awakening Coalition. "Democracy there are no lara-lalaran. No explanations," said Prabowo. During the declaration event, Prabowo also several times mentioned the term "traisal" which according to him was not addressed to PKB. Prabowo emphasized that he was not a problem if he was lied and betrayed.

"Boleh Prabowo dibohongi, boleh Prabowo dikhianati, asal jangan Prabowo bohong dan berkhianat," katanya.Dia menambahkan pada akhirnya rakyat yang akan memberikan keputusan dalam memilih pemimpinnya ke depan."Rakyat akan melihat. Sejarah mencatat siapa yang ada di atas jalan yang benar, siapa yang berkhianat kepada bangsa dan negara," kata Prabowo.Prabowo Subianto, yang telah deklarasi menjadi bakal capres Pilpres 2024, saat ini menerima dukungan dari Partai Gerindra, Partai Amanat Nasional (PAN), Partai Golkar, Partai Bulan Bintang, dan Partai Gelora Indonesia. Saat ini, partai-partai yang mendukung Prabowo itu tergabung dalam Koalisi Indonesia Maju.Partai Gelora mengumumkan dukungannya kepada Prabowo dalam acara deklarasi di Jakarta, Sabtu. Dukungan itu disampaikan langsung oleh Ketua Umum Partai Gelora Anis Matta.
