Polisi Setapkan Pemodal Illegal Logging Di Barito Selatan Jadi Fugitive

BARITO SELATAN - South Barito Police (Barsel), Central Kalimantan (Central Kalimantan) has determined that illegal logging (illegal logging) investors are included in the People's Wanted List (DPO) because they act as the main perpetrators of these prohibited activities.

"The DPO is the financier of all the illegal logging activities," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Barito Police, AKP Afif Hasan during a press conference on the arrest of two illegal logging perpetrators, in Buntok reported by ANTARA, Thursday, August 31.

The police, he said, continued to pursue individuals suspected of being investors or main perpetrators of illegal logging activities that occurred in Parigi Hamlet, Lokaien Village, South Hamlet District.

The police had pursued the financier, but he was still unable to be arrested.

"Currently we are pursuing the DPO, and we ask for prayers so that they can immediately arrest the alleged illegal logging financier," he said.

Because he continued, his party did not want to only take action against the lower ones, but the above ones would still be taken action.

The financier who is suspected of carrying out illegal logging activities in Parigi Hamlet, Lokaien Village, Dusun Selatan District is a person from outside South Barito.

Regarding this problem, his party has also succeeded in securing two perpetrators with the initials A (31) a resident of Kapuas Regency and LS (28) a resident of Ketapang Regency, West Kalimantan.

According to him, during the investigation in the field, the two suspected perpetrators were loading mechanical log wood with an average length of 8 meters into a DT type truck using heavy equipment in the form of an excavator.

"The evidence that has been secured is in the form of an excavator unit, a DT truck and two fuso trucks containing three log logs each," he explained.

The two suspects were charged with Article 83 paragraph 1 letter a and b of Law Number 18/2013 concerning Prevention and Eradication of Forest Destruction paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 12 letters d and e as well as in conjunction with Article 55 of the Criminal Code.
