Praise Jokowi On Constitution Day, MPR Chair: Mr. President, No Opponents

JAKARTA - Chairman of the MPR RI Bambang Soesatyo (Bamsoet) praised President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) who was present at the Commemoration of Constitutional Day and the 78th Anniversary of the MPR RI which was held at the Nusantara IV Building, Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Friday, August 18. Even Bamsoet said Jokowi's leadership had no opponents. "If anyone is happy today in this world, of course we are all in this room, why? Because the presence of the President, not only as the head of government, but also as the head of state," said Bamsoet, starting his remarks. Bamsoet did not want to continue his remarks on the president. Because the former chairman of the DPR was afraid that his statement would go viral on social media. The reason is, Bamsoet said, the community is very satisfied with Jokowi's leadership. Where the level of satisfaction with government reaches 80 percent. Ah, there is no need to go on, it will go viral. Because we know that he is very loved by the people. Where public satisfaction is more than 80 percent. So our term Mr. President, there is no opponent," said Bamsoet.Bamsoet then delivered his speech related to Constitution Day. He said, the commemoration of the MPR's Birthday which was carried out simultaneously with this Constitutional Day has a very deep meaning. Not only for the MPR, but also for the Indonesian people. "The authority and task of the MPR is directed to be able to realize the life of the nation and state constitutionally, as well as to contribute to the sustainability of the nation's development. This is in line with the spirit of commemoration of the 78th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia, namely 'Continue for Advanced Indonesia'," said Bamsoet. To note, Jokowi attended the commemoration event of the 77th Constitutional Day of the MPR RI. Jokowi, wearing a yellow and brown batik shirt arrived at the MPR Building at 13.45 WIB and was welcomed by the Chairman of the MPR Bambang Soesatyo (Bamsoet).

A number of ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet were also present at the event. Namely Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD, Menparekraf Sandiaga Uno, Minister of ATR/BPN, Hadi Tjahjanto to MenPAN RB Azwar Anas. In addition, TNI Commander Admiral Yudo Margono, Attorney General ST Burhanuddin, Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court (MK) Anwar Usman was also seen present at the commemoration of constitutional day.
