Anticipating Scarcity On The West Coast Of Lampung, Police Check Gas Agents 3 Kg

The police checked a number of 3-kilogram LPG gas agents in West Coast Regency, Lampung. This effort is part of anticipating hoarding.

"So following up on the scarcity of 3 kg LPG, we have monitored a number of agents on the West Coast, to ensure there is no hoarding practice," said Head of Public Relations of the West Coast Police, Ipda Kasiyono, in Krui, Pesisir Barat, Lampung, Wednesday, August 2, confiscated by Antara.

He said, if there is hoarding of these important commodities, it will have an impact on price stability and create scarcity of these goods.

"And for now it is still safe, and if there are agents who violate the rules such as hoarding LPG gas, we will follow up," he said.

Therefore, his party invites the public to jointly supervise and report if they find indications of hoarding or scarcity of three kilograms of LPG around their area.

He appealed to the public to use LPG gas wisely and as needed.

"Reducing waste and ensuring efficient use which ultimately has a positive impact on the availability and overall LPG prices," he said.

"We will continue to carry out routine monitoring and cooperation with related parties such as business actors, and the community, to jointly maintain the stability of LPG gas," he continued.

Furthermore, the Department of Cooperatives, SMEs, and Trade (Diskopdag) of West Coast Regency, said that the stock of LPG needs measuring three kilograms is still safe and there have been no reports of the scarcity of subsidized LPG gas.

"For now, the condition of LPG 3 Kg in West Coast Regency, there is no shortage of people, and the need for LPG is still being met," said the Head of Trade, Panji Adha Santoso.

He explained that although the condition of the 3 kg LPG needs is still safe, his party will continue to strive to maximize monitoring of these items.
