Ganjar Pranowo And Regent Dico Ganinduto Evaluate Road Repairs In Kendal And Plan New Road Access Development

The Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, reviewed the results of road repairs in Kendal Regency on Thursday 8 June. Repair of roads on the Kebonharjo-Wonosari section, Patebon District, uses an aid budget from the Central Java Provincial Government.

"Ganjar Pranowo and the Kendal Regent, Dico Ganinduto, are planning to build a new road after reviewing road repairs in Kendal. Repairs to this road are carried out using the aid budget from the Central Java Provincial Government," said Ganjar during a review.

During the review, Ganjar Pranowo and Regent Dico Ganinduto discussed plans to build new road access to support industrial estates that are being prepared in the Kendal area. The construction of the new road is proposed to avoid congestion access to industrial areas.

"We discussed the proposal for a new road design from the Regent which is very good, given the existence of industrial estates in Kendal and several roads. If traffic passes through villages, there will be a density. Therefore, we propose the construction of new roads," explained Ganjar.

Part of the proposed new road route will cross the land owned by the Central Java Provincial Government. Therefore, further communication will be made to plan the construction of the new road.

"Some land is a provincial asset, therefore, a communication model like this will be very effective. The distance traveled is about 3 km, not too far away. If this can be done, it will support economic growth, especially in several industrial areas in Kendal," he added.

Furthermore, there are at least three locations that have been designated as industrial areas in Kendal Regency. Ganjar supports the plan because it has the potential to improve the economy, especially in Kendal and surrounding areas.

"This is an effort that we encourage. This road is not the main goal, but rather a facility to enter the locations of economic growth so that added value can be created, transportation becomes smoother, and the economy can grow. We hope that soon we can realize the development of several new industrial areas around those that already exist, so this will be a support for economic growth at least in the Kendal area," concluded Ganjar Pranowo.
