Ahmad Ali stated that NasDem's choice to form a coalition with PKS and Democrats was aimed at caring for democracy which is currently growing in Indonesia.
In addition, he explained that the choice taken by NasDem was in line with the determination of the prospective presidential candidate for the NasDem, PKS, and Democrat coalition, namely the Coalition for Change for Unity (KPP) Anies Baswedan.
"That if we want to get to the top, never choose a flat and flat road because surely we will never get to the top," said Ahmad Ali.
