The SAR Team Finds One Woman's Body In The Rawa Area Of Depok

The joint SAR team again found the body of a woman named Nur Hanifa (17), a victim drowned in a culvert on Jalan Tawakal, Pancoran Mas District, Depok City, West Java. Victim Nur was found dead at a radius of 150 meters from the scene.

"The victim was found by the joint SAR team through the SAR exploration process, sweeping the swamp which became a water reservoir when it was overflowing," said Head of the Jakarta SAR Office, Fazzli when confirmed, Wednesday, April 26.

After the evacuation process was carried out, the victim's body was handed over to his family. The search for victims was carried out by joint SAR personnel from the Jakarta SAR Office, Depok City Fire Department, Pancoran Mas Police, Pancoran Mas Koramil and others.

Previously, two teenagers named Sheila Junaita (12) and Nur Hanifa (17) were swept away by the current of water in the sewers - Jalan Tawakal culvert, Pancoran Mas District, Depok City, West Java.

Both of them were swept away by the current when they were about to return to their respective homes and cross the overflow of water around the culverts on Tuesday, April 25.

At the time of the incident, the water level overflowed about 50 cm or as high as the waist of an adult. The two victims had received help from their grandfather who was also an eye witness to the incident.

But unfortunately, the two victims could not be saved because they had been carried away by the current and drowned towards a swamp in the area.

The joint SAR team that conducted the search and search finally managed to find victim Sheila Junaita on Tuesday, April 25, evening. The victim was found at a radius of approximately 90 meters from the scene of the incident in a dead condition.
