KALBAR - The District Government (Pemkab) of Kubu Raya anticipates forest and land fires (karhutla) so that the impact will not be felt like during the dry season in 2020.

"Efforts to prevent forest and land fires are carried out in several ways, including enforcing the law against perpetrators of illegal land burning, strengthening monitoring networks, and conducting outreach to the community," said Plt. Meanwhile, at the same time, the Regent of Kubu Raya Muda Mahendrawan said he had asked the BPBD of Kubu Raya Regency to prepare various facilities and infrastructure to anticipate forest and land fires.

"We have prepared a firefighting fleet and personnel who are ready to carry out forest and land fire disaster management. In addition, we have also coordinated with relevant agencies and the community to anticipate fire disasters," said Muda Mahendrawan.
