The robber who slashed the Central Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. officer is known to have the initials TA (21). The perpetrator is listed as a resident of Muara Baru, Penjaringan Village, Penjaringan District, North Jakarta.

"The perpetrator had worked as a fisherman catching squid in Muara Baru. The perpetrator was shot in the leg during his arrest," said Tambora Police Chief Kompol Putra Pratama when confirmed by VOI, Friday, December 16.

The arrest of the perpetrator was led by the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit, Iptu Rachmad Wibowo. The perpetrator with the initials TA was arrested when he returned to a robbery in the Tambora area.

"The perpetrator served as the executor who stabbed the victim. The perpetrator of TA is also the leader of a group of five robbers," he said.

The arrest of the TA perpetrator was successfully carried out thanks to the instructions obtained from the residents' CCTV footage and the results of the crime scene processing.

CCTV provided instructions so that the Tambora Police managed to get the characteristics of the perpetrators, the perpetrator's vehicle and the vehicle used by the perpetrators during the robbery.

"The perpetrator was arrested on Jalan Roa Malaka Utara, RT 006/003, Roa malaka Village, Tambora District, West Jakarta. During the arrest, the police had to shoot the perpetrator TA because at that time he would injure his victim," he said.

As a result of his actions, the perpetrators of TA were charged with Article 355 of the Criminal Code with a threat of 12 years in prison.
