"BPBD noted that as of Thursday, November 17 at 16.30 WIB, all inundation in the DKI Jakarta area had receded," said the Head of BPBD DKI Jakarta, Isnawa Adji in a statement, Thursday, November 17.
Previously at 12.00 WIB, as many as 3 roads and 7 Neighborhood Association (RT) were flooded by up to 25 centimeters due to heavy rain accompanied by strong winds in the morning.
Today's rain also caused an increase in the alert status of the Cipinang Hulu Post to Alert 3 (alert) and the Sunter Hulu Post to Alert 3 (alert).
Isnawa explained that the receding inundation and flooding occurred thanks to collaborative efforts made by related OPDs such as BPBD, SDA Service, Gulkarmat Service, Bina Marga Service, Environment Service, Civil Service Police Unit and Handling of Public Infrastructure and Facilities (PPSU) at the Village Level which have mobilized the following personnel with supporting equipment such as mobile pumps in suck up puddles and make sure the water lines are functioning properly.

"Jakarta BPBD appeals to the public to remain careful and alert to potential inundation," Isnawa said.
