JAKARTA - The East Jakarta Transportation Sub-Department has begun to carry out traffic engineering on Pendidikan Street and Raden Inten Street, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta, starting tomorrow, Wednesday 28 September to 9 November, next.
This traffic engineering is carried out to minimize congestion due to the construction of a waterway crossing at the intersection of Raden Inten Street - Pendidikan Raya Street - Malaka Selatan Street.
"This is for the safety and comfort of motorists and to minimize the impact of traffic jams," said Head of East Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept., Dody Setiawan, Tuesday, September 27.
During traffic engineering, motorcyclists are advised to avoid Pendidikan Street. Then the vehicle from Taman Malaka Selatan Street which headed to Swadaya Street, Duren Sawit Subdistrict, and Kampung Melayu, was diverted via Raden Inten 2 Street to Kolonel Sugiono Street.
