SERANG - The combined search and rescue or SAR team of Banten Province conducted a search for a ship captain named Widianto (41) who fell and disappeared in the waters of Pamujaan Island, Serang City.

"We hope that on the second day the captain who fell and disappeared in the waters of Pamujaan Island can be found," said Head of Banten Basarnas, Adil Triyanto, in Serang, Friday, September 2.

A joint SAR team involving Basarnas, Polairud Pos Karangantu, TNI, Polri, Provincial BPBD, City BPBD, Banten DKP, HANI Serang Regency, BMKG, the community and fishermen.

The Banten SAR team conducted a search by sweeping around the location of the case (LKP) using a Basarnas rubber boat and a Navy ship.

The search point in a search area of ​​24 Nm by using the creeping search technique is 5 lanes with a space of 1 Nm.

They were the Banten SAR team conducting a search around the Pamujaan Island waters using the equipment used by the Air Palsar, Personnel Trucks, Communications Palsar, Madis Palsar, and Hamzat PPE.

So far, the SAR team has been working hard to find the captain of Widiantoni with the address Pekarangan RT/RW 001/002 Kagungan Village, Serang District, Serang City.

The marine accident occurred on Thursday, September 1 at 13.00 WIB while escorting anglers back from the fishing spot to Gopek Beach.

The captain's victim is estimated to have fallen and disappeared in the waters of Pamujaan Island, Serang City.

Luckily, he said, in that incident, all the fishing passengers survived.

Currently, the weather in the waters of Pamujaan Island is relatively sunny and cloudy, so the sweeping is running smoothly.

"We did a search and sweeping on the second day until 17.00 WIB and if not found then continued tomorrow," he said.
