JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan compared the work patterns during his tenure as regional head in the Capital City with the Minister of Education and Culture.
Before serving as Governor of DKI, Anies served as Minister of Education and Culture from 2014 to 2016 in the Working Indonesia Cabinet led by President Joko Widodo.

"If I may share my experiences when I was Minister of Education and Culture", said Anies, Tuesday, August 30.
When he became Minister of Education and Culture, Anies admitted that he mostly dealt with administrative issues regarding education policy in Indonesia.
"At that time, we discussed issues related to policy. We discussed several challenges throughout Indonesia and made sure that the policy was the right one. We also dealt with a lot of paper", said Anies.
Meanwhile, while serving as the Governor of DKI, Anies was more often face-to-face with the people in the areas he led. He also admitted that he often encounters uniqueness in the problems he faces.
"When I was governor of DKI Jakarta, I dealt with the public more than paper. We deal with more real problems that people feel every day. That is a unique difference", he said.
