9.684 Health Workers Become The Target Of The Second Dose Of Booster Vaccination In Cirebon

JABAR - The Cirebon Regency Health Office (Dinkes) recorded that 9.684 health workers were targeted for the second dose of COVID-19 vaccination because they had met the requirements.

"There are 9.684 health workers who have met the requirements," said the Sub-Coordinator of Surveillance and Immunization of the Cirebon District Health Office, Dendi Hamdi in Cirebon, quoted from Antara, Thursday, August 4.

According to him, the second dose of booster vaccination is given to health workers who have met the requirements, especially those who have received the third dose of vaccine.

So, from Dendi's further targets, there are 9.684 who have received booster vaccinations, and they are the recipients.

Dendi said that at this time, his party was still waiting for a vaccine from the province, because it had to be in accordance with what was determined by the Ministry of Health.

"We are still waiting for the availability of the vaccine, because it is only given half the dose," he said.

Dendi added that from the data, the number of health workers who had participated in the first dose of vaccination was 10.331 people, while the second dose was 10.245 health workers, from the initial target of 7.294 people.

He explained that the second dose of booster vaccination is an effort to protect health workers from COVID-19, which has yet to subside.

Even in Cirebon Regency, cases again showed an increase, where there were 65 people undergoing isolation either in hospitals or independently.

"There are 30 people in the hospital, and 35 others in isolation at home," he said.

Dendi appealed to the public to continue to comply with health protocols, and immediately carry out booster vaccinations.
