According to him, the flood made part of the road inundated so that vehicles from Ambon City heading to West Leihitu could not pass.
"Currently, the situation at the flood site, precisely in Air Sikula, Hatu Country, is still raining, so the water continues to overflow onto the main road, resulting in the cut off of transportation access," he said, quoted by Antara.
The West Leihitu Police are coordinating with the Ambon Bay Police and the Regional Disaster Management Agency to convey an appeal to residents not to cross roads that are still flooded
