98 Thousand Residents Of Manokwari Have Not Performed E-KTP Data Recording, Regent Asks Officers To Pick Up The Ball

MANOKWARI - The Regent of Manokwari, Hermus Indou, reminded the village and district or sub-district to move quickly to the field to record medical e-KTPs for residents who have not done it.

According to Hermus, more than 98 thousand residents of Manokwari have not recorded their personal data for e-KTP.

"The village head and district head must ensure that all residents have their population data recorded. Then control the population data in the area by making demographic data", said Hermus in Manokwari, Papua, quoted from Antara, Monday, July 18.

Hermus, who chaired the Coordination Meeting and Consolidation of Population Data, hoped that the residents would be properly recorded. The goal is that they can enjoy the rights provided by the state and other services.

Head of the Manokwari Population and Civil Registry Office (Disdukcapil), Rustam Effendi, said that the non-active citizen is now the target of recording population data. Data recording can be done at the Disdukcapil office or the ball pick-up service.

He said that the more than 98 thousand non-active residents whose ID cards have not been recorded are divided into 9 districts, 9 sub-districts, and 164 villages or villages.

"Their data was disabled by the system, not us. The system that reads that the data has not recorded it", he said, according to Antara.

He hopes that districts and villages will work hard through RT and RW to collect data on residents whose ID cards have not been recorded. Disdukcapil later will immediately pick up the ball to record population data.

Rustam explained that non-active residents, namely those who have a KK and NIK but have not recorded ID card data after a long time.

"Their data already exists with names and addresses. The largest is in the West Manokwari District of more than 52 thousand", said Rustam.

West Manokwari District Secretary, Isak Waramori, said that his party would continue to disseminate information regarding the recording of ID card data so that population data could improve.

He admitted that many residents came from outside and settled in his area which is located in the heart of the capital city of West Papua.

"We hope they can obey the rules. They have to take care of recording their e-KTP or take care of changing their domicile at the Disdukcapil", he said.
