Andi Irfan Jaya's Lawyers Team Will Submit Exception

JAKARTA - Andi Irfan Jaya's team of lawyers has objections to the charges of the Public Prosecutor (JPU) and will submit an objection or exception note.

"We heard earlier and we have told you that we will file an exception and it is scheduled to be read out next Monday," Andi Irfan's lawyer, Andi Syafrani, told reporters, Wednesday, November 4.

However, when asked about his objection to the indictment, Andi was reluctant to comment. He only said that everything would be presented in the trial.

"The details, of course, will be conveyed to the exception reading," he said.

Apart from the submission of expectations, Andi assessed that his client's charges were not much different from those of Pinangki Sirna Malasari. There is only a slight difference in the matter of Andi Irfan being charged as an intermediary.

"Only his position is that Andi Irfan Jaya is accused of being a person who helped the crime against the Pinangki sister," he said.

"The second one was accused of committing an evil consensus together with Pinangki," he continued.

Andi Irfan Jaya was charged with being an intermediary in this case. Andi Irfan Jaya is said to have given money of 500 thousand United States (US) dollars from Joko Tjandra to prosecutor Pinangki Sirna Malasari.

Then, he was also charged with committing a malicious consensus to commit a criminal act of corruption. The agreement was made by Andi Irfan Jaya together with prosecutors Pinangki Sirna Malasari and Joko S. Tjandra.

They agreed to bribe Attorney General and Supreme Court officials US $ 10,000,000.
