After Squid Game 2., Won Ji An Reportedly Will Compete With Park Seo Joon In The Drama Waiting For Gyeongdo

JAKARTA - Actress from South Korea, Won Ji An is rumored to be competing acting with Park Seo Joon as his latest project after starring in the Squid Game 2 series. Launching from Koreaboo, Won Ji An is currently in the process of being discussed to be able to join the drama series titled Waiting for Gyeongdo.

Responding to the report, Won Ji An's agency Hiin Entertainment tried to provide confirmation. "Wating for Gyeongdo is a project currently being reviewed by Won Ji An for his casting offer," Hiin Entertainment said as quoted by VOI, Friday, January 3.

Previously, in July 2024, Park Seo Joon was revealed to be in talks to play the male lead character Lee Gyeong Do.

The drama Waiting for Gyeongdo itself is a romantic comedy drama that tells the story of a former couple, Lee Gyeong Do and Seo Ji Woo.

After breaking up with their 20 years of age, Gyeong Do and Ji Woo accidentally met again. From there they will experience a romantic and humorous incident.

Waiting for Gyeongdo will be directed by Lim Hyun Wook, who is also the director of the drama King The Land.

Waiting for Gyeongdo will start production soon after the player selection process is complete and is currently in the discussion stage to be broadcast on JTBC.
