BATAM - Hang Nadim airport cleaners found a baby fetus in a garbage dump at Batam's Hang Nadim Airport.
Barelang Police Chief Kombes Pol Nugroho Tri N confirmed the discovery of this baby fetus. He explained that this discovery began when the cleaners were cleaning up trash at the Hang Nadim Airport Terminal Building.
"Then upon arrival at the garbage disposal site, the janitor handed over the garbage to his colleague for separation of the types of waste," said Nugroho from a written statement received by Antara in Batam, Riau Islands, Tuesday, June 14.
It was during the waste separation process that the janitor found the baby's lifeless fetus in a plastic bag.
Police officers immediately processed the crime scene (TKP) when they arrived at the location by the Inafis team.
"Until now, the sex of the fetus is still unknown," said Nugroho.
After completing the temporary examination, the baby's fetal corpse was brought to the Bhayangkara Hospital for further examination.
