ENDE - Ende Police Chief AKBP Andre Librian stressed the importance of the readiness of Ende Police personnel vehicles for security activities for President Joko Widodo's visit to Ende, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) on June 1, 2022.

"I emphasize to each member of the vehicle holder to periodically check and be responsible for their respective vehicles. Do not strike during troop shifts," said Ende Police Chief AKBP Andre Librian in a statement received in Labuan Bajo as reported by Antara, Tuesday. , May 24.

In order to secure President Joko Widodo's visit to Ende on June 1, 2022, the Ende Police will check official vehicles, both two-wheeled, four-wheeled, and six-wheeled during the Vehicle Checking Ceremony. The Ende Police Chief ordered all personnel to check official vehicles as a precaution against damage that would occur during security.

He emphasized that vehicles should not be used for personal purposes, but for official needs so that they can be accounted for. He said he would check the vehicles one by one and make sure they were ready for use during the president's visit to Ende.

If there is damage to the vehicle, he said, the members must immediately repair the vehicle so that it can function normally for the security of the president.

If there are still vehicles that broke down during security, he said the members did not heed his orders. Therefore, reports related to vehicles must be submitted in stages to the Ende Police Chief.

The Ende Police Chief explicitly asked Ende Police personnel to understand the duties and responsibilities given during security. He ordered the officers in charge to coordinate with the members so that each member knew the duties and positions of security.

"I hope the officers can coordinate the members, all must be in one command," he said.
