JAKARTA - Jakpro's Vice Managing Director of Formula E, Gunung Kartiko revealed that currently sales of Formula E tickets are ongoing and there are already many buyers.

In fact, said Gunung, more Formula E ticket buyers so far are foreign nationals (WNA) than Indonesian citizens (WNI).

"We can see that those who bought the tickets were not only Indonesians but more than 50 percent of foreigners. So, hopefully, it will bring foreign exchange into Indonesia", said Gunung at a press conference in Ancol, North Jakarta, Thursday, May 19.

In Gunung's explanation, currently, buyers of Formula E tickets are 3 percent of Turkish citizens, 3 percent of Tunisians, 3 percent of Poland, 3 percent of Norway, and 9.1 percent of Japanese.

Then Italy 6.1 percent, Guatemala 3 percent, United Kingdom 6.1 percent, Argentina 3 percent, United States 6.1 percent, Australia 9.1 percent, Philippines 6.1 percent, India 6.1 percent, and Malaysia 3 percent.

Meanwhile, Indonesians themselves have bought Formula E tickets with a percentage of 21.1 percent.

As for the Formula E tickets which will be held in Ancol on June 4, 2022, the prices start from IDR 250 thousand to IDR 10 million.

In detail, the Ancol Festival ticket category is sold for IDR 250 thousand with three locations, namely the electric stage (Dufan), the vibrant stage (Dolphins), and the sustainable stage (Pantai Festival). Then, the Circuit Festival ticket category costs IDR 450 thousand, and Grandstand costs IDR 750 thousand.

"VIP tickets have been sold out 100 percent. There are 3 VIP locations, namely Ocean Waves, Segarra and Jimbaran. Then from the VVIP side, Royal and Deluxe are already above 50 percent", explained Gunung.
