JAKARTA - PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) is still speeding up its construction for the Formula E Jakarta track so that it can be completed in April 2022. What's the progress like?

Regarding this tight time, Jakpro doesn't care. They are still confident that the construction of the Jakarta Formula E track will be completed on time in April.

The reason is that after the construction of the Formula E track is completed, Jakpro will continue the construction of supporting facilities. Everything so that it can be used in June 2022.

Director of Asset Management of PT Jakpro, as well as Vice Managing Director of Formula E Gunung Kartiko, said that currently the soft soil in the location of the circuit must be hardened first. After that, it was connected with several techniques for making circuit tracks.

"There are special techniques that are carried out so that before we give the soil base A, base B, before we give the material, we give asphalt, that's good," he said.

Gunung explained that the process of working on the Formula E circuit with the standard technical specifications of the International Automotive Federation (FIA) grade 1 can be done on time.

Gunung is quite optimistic that the circuit will be completed on time because the track for Formula E is shorter than the track for Formula 1 and Moto GP.

The Formula E circuit will be in the form of a lumping horse with a track length of 2.4 kilometers. The location of this circuit is in the middle of the Ancol area.

This track has a circuit width of 16 meters with 18 corners. For straight tracks as a place for fast races, the length of 600 meters is given in a clockwise or clockwise direction.
