Husband Who Strangled His Wife To Death In Karawaci Officially Became A Suspect

TANGERANG - Tangerang Metro Police Chief, Grand Commissioner Komarudin said the suspect in the strangulation, AS (25) to his wife, PS (22) had been named a suspect.

"Yes, the perpetrator has been named a suspect. He was determined after an examination and a case was filed,” said Komarudin when confirmed, Wednesday, February 16.

Komarudin said that the suspect AS (25) killed the victim because he was annoyed because the victim came home late at night and smelled alcohol.

"So AS (the perpetrator) was angry because his wife had not come home until late at night, usually his wife was home at 8 pm. Then when she came home it was almost 2 o'clock with a condition that her mouth smelled of liquor," explained Komarudin.

The suspect, continued Komarudin, could not contain his emotions, so his eyes darkened and eventually killed the victim by strangling her in the bathroom of his house.

"There was a fight and the victim had scratched the perpetrator, causing the perpetrator to strangle the victim's neck. She was suffocating in the bathroom," he said.

It was previously reported that AS strangled his wife to death inside her house at the Bugel Mas Indah Housing Complex, Karawaci, Tangerang City, Sunday, February 12. AS was confused and didn't leave the house for a whole day.

Finally, AS decided to go to his family's house in Bogor. Meanwhile, his wife's body was left in the bathroom.

"Because he was confused, he was not going anywhere. On Monday, he returned to his parents' house in Bogor, told his family," said Komarudin when contacted, Tuesday, February 15.

The perpetrator's uncle, who knew about the incident, immediately took AS to the Tangerang Metro Police.
