KEDIRI - West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil and his entourage visited the Lirboyo Islamic Boarding School, Kediri City, East Java. Kang Emil met the caregivers and a number of students from West Java who were studying at the pesantren.

Ridwan Kamil said that he deliberately came to Lirboyo Islamic Boarding School, Kediri City, to make friends and meet the caregivers. Previously, Ridwan Kamil participated in activities with the Governor of East Java, Khofifah Indar Parawansa.

"I heard from West Java that there are about 4 thousand students studying in Lirboyo, Kediri. So, coincidentally, I signed a collaboration with Mrs. Khofifah (Governor of East Java, ed) and I have a friend, the Mayor of Kediri. So, the intention is I left students from West Java earlier," he said in Kediri, quoted by Antara, Thursday, January 20.

Kang Emil also just found out that in West Java there is a branch of the Lirboyo Islamic Boarding School, Kediri, to be precise in Majalengka. His party will help develop it, so that students also have the choice of wanting to study at Lirboyo Kediri or in Majalengka.

RK also met with a number of male students from West Java. He also gave advice to the students to always study hard.

"For students, where the earth is stepped on, the sky is upheld. Students study diligently, because their intention is to study so they must graduate well. Don't forget, contact your parents asking for prayers and protect the good name of West Java. We wish you success and become useful people for society," he said.

Regarding the survey results of presidential candidates whose names are quite superior, RK admitted that he just gave up. Ridwan Kamil only prioritizes work.

"I don't know the surveys, mostly. I want to talk about which survey. But the point is, people like us who are the object of the survey, just give up, go up and down and so on. The important thing is to just work. If the work is good, the public can also evaluate and give appreciation ," he said.
