Waiting For Ferdinand Hutahaean To Fulfill His Promise, Fulfill The Examination And Explain The Problem Of 'Your God Is Weak'

JAKARTA - Former Democrat politician, Ferdinand Hutahaean is scheduled to undergo an examination regarding his tweet about 'Your God is Weak', which is suspected to have elements of blasphemy. In the examination, Ferdinand's status as a reported party and a witness.

The Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, said investigators scheduled Ferdinand's examination today or Monday, January 10.

During the examination, the investigative team will collect all of Ferdinand Hutahaean's information. Including, the intent and purpose of the tweet.

"Yes, that's right, the information was checked on Monday (10 January)," said Dedi when confirmed, Friday, January 7.

On a different occasion, the Head of Public Information Bureau, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, said that Ferdinand's examination was carried out after investigators examined witnesses and experts.

"Investigators at the Cyber Bareskrim Polri will examine 5 more witnesses or 5 expert witnesses and are in the process. So by examining 5 (experts, ed) there are 15 witnesses. Consisting of 5 witnesses and 10 expert witnesses," said Ramadhan.

The experts examined were experts from all religions. They were asked for their opinion on Ferdinand Hutahaean's tweet on his Twitter account.

"There are additional expert witnesses from several religions, yes, we just haven't been able to (name of an expert, ed). Witnesses of Islam, Christianity, Catholicism, Hinduism, Buddhism," said Ramadhan.

On the other hand, Ramadhan also emphasized that the investigation process carried out by his party would be thorough and professional. Moreover, they will not look at the status of Ferdinand Hutahaean as a former Democrat politician.

"Of course, we do this carefully and professionally," said Ramadhan.

Responding to the examination schedule, Ferdinand Hutahaean stated that he would be present at the examination next week. In fact, he will tell investigators the real facts behind the 'Your God is Weak' tweet.

"Yes of course we are very ready yes and will be ready to face Monday's summons," said Ferdinand.

During the examination later, the former Democrat politician will explain to investigators the facts that actually happened. Because, Ferdinand thought that the reporting of the case involving him was only based on the opinion of the reporter.

"We certainly answer that we need to clarify the real facts, the legal facts that we will convey," said Ferdinand.

"It's not just opinions because law enforcement is not a matter of opinion but a matter of facts," he continued.

For information, Ferdinand Hutahaean was reported on suspicion of spreading hoaxes or blasphemy to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police. The report follows his tweet on his Twitter account @FerdinandHaean3 about 'Your God is Weak'.

Ferdinand is suspected of violating Article 45 a paragraph 2 in conjunction with Article 28 paragraph 2, Law 11 of 2008 concerning ITE, and Article 14 paragraph 1 and paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code.
