Every Year Village Funds Increase, Ciamis Regent: Evidence Of The Seriousness Of The Central Government To Develop Villages

CIAMIS - The village fund disbursement from the central government for Ciamis Regency, West Java, in 2022 will reach Rp270.5 billion, up from 2021 which is Rp263.6 billion, and will be used to support development so that villages are more advanced and prosperous.

"Every year the Village Fund increases. This increase is proof of the seriousness of the central government to develop villages," said Ciamis Regent Herdiat Sunarya at the launch of the 2022 Village Fund at the Ciamis Islamic Center Building, reported by Antara, Thursday, January 6.

He said that the Village Fund disbursement from the central government always increases every year, for that village officials must use it properly.

He hopes that the village head understands all the rules and uses the Village Fund according to the applicable rules so that no village head is caught in the law in managing the Village Fund.

"The village head should not get out of line in the management of the Village Fund. Seriously implement the existing rules of the game, don't let the village head get caught by the law," he said.

The Head of the Ciamis Regency Community and Village Empowerment Service Ape Ruswandana added that the launch and socialization were held so that the village government understood the mechanism in managing the 2022 Village Fund.

"Through this socialization activity, it is hoped that the village government can prioritize programs that synergize with local, provincial, and central governments," he said.

He explained as stipulated in Presidential Regulation Number 104 of 2021 that the Village Fund was divided into 40 percent social protection programs, 20 percent food security programs, 8 percent support for handling COVID-19, and the rest for other sectors.

He appealed to all village governments to comply with the laws and regulations issued by the central government towards more developed and developing villages.

"Through this socialization, hopefully in 2022 we can begin to organize village development in Ciamis Regency," he said.
