The man was arrested at Charles de Gaulle Airport on Tuesday, December 7, as quoted by Channel News Asia. Police sources identified the man as Khaled Aedh Al-Otaibi, a former Saudi Arabian Royal Guard.

Khaled Aedh Al-Otaibi, 33, is currently being held by border police under an arrest warrant issued by Turkey before flying to Riyadh from Charles de Gaulle airport. Khaled Aedh Al-Otaibi will appear before prosecutors on Wednesday.

Al-Otaibi, named on Britain's UK sanctions list for involvement in Khashoggi's killing, is also on France's wanted list.
