JAKARTA - Bripda RB, the police officer who is said to be related to the motive for the suicide of student Novia Widyasari Rahayu/NWR (23) is still undergoing intensive examination. Bripda RB was investigated by Propam East Java Police.

"(Bripda RB) Now the Regional Police (East Java) is still investigating," said Head of Public Relations of the East Java Police, Grand Commissioner Gator Repli Handoko to VOI, Saturday, December 4.

The clarification relates to allegations circulating about the rape case against NRW. Rumors circulated that the girl was desperate to end her life because she was raped.

But the East Java Regional Police are still digging up information through investigations to ensure the truth of the rumors circulating.

Although currently being investigated by the East Java Regional Police, said Gatot, the status of Bripda RB is still a member of the Pasuruan Police. This is because the examination is only a clarification process regarding the circulating news.

Moreover, until now there is no evidence or clues that can ensure Bripda RB has involvement in the series of suicide cases.

"Not (withdrawn to the regional police), his status remains with the Pasuruan Police. At the regional police it is only for clarification," said Gatot.

Previously, it was viral on social media for a student with the initials NWR (23) who was found dead beside her father's grave in Sugihan Hamlet, Japan Village, Sooko District, Mojokerto.
