JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office of the Republic of Indonesia will auction 15 luxury cars and one Harley Davidson motorcycle which was confiscated by the state from the corruption case of PT Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero). The total value of the 16 vehicles reached more than Rp11 billion.
Acting Secretary to the Deputy Attorney General for Development Sartono said in the series of settlements of the state confiscation of the PT Asuransi Jiwasraya case, a series of assessment activities had been carried out on state confiscated goods since September 16.
Furthermore, Sartono said that the assessment of confiscated goods also involved the Director of Appraisal of the Directorate General of State Assets (DJKN).
"Assessment of 15 four-wheeled vehicles and one two-wheeled vehicle, the overall fair value is Rp11,193,752,000," said Sartono at PT Jiwasraya's office, Central Jakarta, Sunday, November 21.
Sartono explained that out of a total of 16 vehicles, four of them were confiscated items from the convict Heru Hidayat. The four vehicles include; Land Rover Rp806 million; Jeep Lexus Rp936 million; Toyota Vellfire Rp624 million; and Toyota Vellfire Rp680 million.
Then, four cars were confiscated from the convict Benny Tjokrosaputro in the form of; Jeep Land Rover Rp2 billion, Jeep Audi Rp962 million, Toyota Alphard Rp829 million, and Mercedes Benz S.500 Rp1 billion.
The three vehicles confiscated from the convict Hendrisman Rahim include; Toyota Alphard Rp600 million, Mercedes Benz E.300 Rp285 million, and Harley Davidson Rp361 million.

Furthermore, the two vehicles were confiscated from the convict Harry Prasetyo, namely; Mercedes Benz E.300 Rp626 million and Toyota Alphard Rp697 million. Just like Harry, two other vehicles were also confiscated from the convict Syahmirwan, namely; Honda CRV Rp167 million and Toyota Kijang Innova Rp253 million.
Finally, one vehicle was confiscated from the convict Joko Hartono Tirto, a Toyota Kijang Innova worth Rp259 million. Sartono explained that the auction was conducted online and transparently on November 24 through the Indonesian Auction portal, namely auction.go.id.
The auction will be preceded by an announcement of the auction in accordance with the provisions as stipulated in the Regulation of the Minister of Finance Number 213/PMK.06/2020 concerning Auction Implementation Guidelines and other related provisions.
