Man Was Reshuffled After An Argument In Pagaralam, South Sumatra, Police Name 5 Suspects

JAKARTA - The police have named five suspects in the case of the beating that killed a man with the initials RC in Pagaralam City, South Sumatra (Sumsel).

Head of Public Relations of the Pagaralam Police, AKP Mastoni, explained that the five suspects were RD, TK, RN (14 years old) in conflict with the law, ARJ who was fugitive, and RC who died.

In this case, quoting Antara, the suspects were charged with Article 170 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code with a threat of 7 years in prison.

Meanwhile, the SDK of the suspect who abused it caused RC to die was suspected of Article 351 paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code with a maximum penalty of 7 years in prison.

Mastoni explained that the incident began when the suspects RD and TK bought liquor for a party with suspects RK, MD, and AR.

The alcohol party took place behind the shop right on the stairs of the suspect RD's rented house on Sunday, December 15, 2024 night.

Then the wife of another suspect, SDK, found someone throwing a bottle over the zinc of his house. Incidentally, there were a group of suspects RK, TK, RD, MD, AR and RC.

SDK then questioned who threw the bottle at RK's entourage. However, RK's entourage denied it, resulting in quarrels and quarrels.

The elementary school was then beaten by RK, TK, AR, RN, and RC until they suffered injuries to the head and body.

The incident was later resolved by witnesses ADI and residents. SDK and his wife then returned home.

Arriving home, the SDK took a sharp weapon and an iron spear and jumped from the 2nd floor of the shophouse and met RC's entourage.

RC who was under the stairs rushed to run after seeing the elementary school. But unfortunately, RC fell and was overhauled into the thigh. SDK immediately fled.

RC, who was injured, was immediately taken to Besemah Hospital by his parents on a motorbike.

"From the results of the crime scene and the statements of the witnesses and the alleged perpetrators, there were two incidents in the incident," he said.
