JAKARTA Instagram Head Adam Mosseri announced that the internal team Threads has completed developing a scheduled post upload feature. Now, Threads will test the feature.

"We will soon begin testing the scheduled Threads, which we have been working on for months," Mosseri said through her Threads account. In addition to announcing scheduled posting testing, Mosseri also explained the use system.

Although later users can upload posts on a scheduled basis, this feature is only available for regular posts, not for replies. Threads deliberately apply this limit because they are still encouraging direct conversation between users.

"The reason can't be scheduled, we want to balance the giving of more control to people to plan their Threads while continuing to push for direct conversations," Mosseri explained.

For users who use the beta version of Threads, they can upload posts on a scheduled basis by clicking the Schedule button. This button is located at the bottom left corner of the screen with a small clock icon.

Threads provides the option of scheduling posts for the next one day, the day after tomorrow, or even next week. Users can also set the upload hours and minutes freely. Once the time is set, users will see the information at the top of the screen.

Recently, Instagram also launched a scheduled delivery feature, but for messages on Direct Messenger (DM). This feature was released without notification, but has been confirmed by the company. To use this feature, users only need to press the send button until a Scheduled Messages option appears.
