JAKARTA The clash between residents of Kebon Kacang, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, which occurred on Tuesday afternoon, December 17, resulted in the death of one person. Tanah Abang Metro Police Chief, AKBP Aditya Sembiring said the dead victim was a land worker who was doing land clearing.
Aditya explained that the clash occurred at around 16.30 WIB. It is suspected that there were 30 residents around Kebon Kacang Village who were cleaning the land.
"So yesterday, Tuesday (17 December) at around 16.30 WIB, it is suspected that 30 residents around Kebon Kacang Village came to the workers who were clearing the land belonging to one of the companies," Aditya explained.

"The victim was hit by a sharp object and died on the way to Pelni Hospital," said Aditya.

"We are still investigating for sure, we are currently in the process. Then the work on this land has been running since three months ago," said Aditya.
