The Man Who Fell From The 6th Floor Of A Hotel In The Semarang Area Was Pushed By His Roommate

JAKARTA - Semarang Police finally revealed the incident of a man falling from the 6th floor of the Grand Candi Hotel Semarang, Central Java, which occurred on Sunday, November 7.

According to information, initially, the victim, Christopher Bobby (24) was reported to have had an accident while in the hotel room he ordered. The victim was initially reported to have fallen after running from the toilet and hitting the hotel room glass and then falling onto the 2nd-floor balcony.

However, after an examination and investigation, it was discovered that the resident of Graha Estetika Housing, Semarang City was apparently the result of being pushed into the hotel's glass window until it broke and fell by his colleague named Alfreandi (23).

Alfreandi is listed as a resident of Wana Mukti Public Corporation, Tembalang, Semarang City, he shared the same room as the victim with two other colleagues. Alfredi was finally arrested after a police investigation into the incident.

Semarang Police Chief Commissioner Irwan Anwar said the commotion between the victim and the perpetrator was due to a misunderstanding.

"It is suspected that there was a misunderstanding between the victim and the perpetrator while in the room," he said.

The perpetrator allegedly pushed the victim towards the hotel window glass until it shattered and fell onto the balcony of the 2nd floor of the hotel.

As a result of his actions, the suspect was charged with Article 338 of the Criminal Code on Murder or Article 359 of the Criminal Code regarding negligence that caused a person to die.

Previously, during the initial examination, the witness in the incident admitted that the victim fell from the room after running from the bathroom to the hotel room window and fell.

In the statement, it was also stated that the victim entered after consuming liquor at a cafe not far from the hotel.

From the information gathered, the victim, the perpetrator, and his two friends stayed at the hotel after undergoing advocate education.
