Feby Putri Reveals The Sad Story Behind The Implementation Of Duration Songs

JAKARTA - Duration is one of the material on Feby Putri's second album entitled "Hitam Putih". The single that was delivered in collaboration with the Aircraft was released earlier on August 26.

When holding a hearing session on the album "Hitam Putih" in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta on Monday, September 23, the singers who wrote the song from Makassar revealed a sad story behind the song Durasi.

In the song, Feby inserts pieces of Makassar language into the lyrics. This was prepared as a surprise for the mother.

In the song Draink, if you hear it, there is Makassar Language. This is what my mother has been waiting for, where there is Makassar Language in one of my songs. I actually wanted to surprise my mother, I put Makassar in my song," said Feby Putri.

The process of composing and recording songs began around August to October 2023.

But fate said otherwise. Feby's plan to surprise his mother was not fulfilled. The mother passed away to the Creator on November 26, 2023.

"And it turns out that my mother passed away," he said.

Of the eleven songs on the second album, the 24-year-old singer called the vocal recording process for the song Duration the most difficult.

"The hardest thing is actually the duration. The workshop process and the music recording process were when my mother was still in the world. But when she took her vocals, after my mother was gone," said Feby.

"So, it's quite tough actually," he said.
