JAKARTA - The video of the countdown uploaded by Linkin Park on his Instagram account last weekend, has ended today, Thursday, August 29.

With the various speculations that have emerged among fans, the California-based nu metal band has actually re-uploaded a counter video that makes fans even more confused.

"It's just a matter of time," wrote Linkin Park in the caption for Instagram uploads.

The band's caption directs fans to visit their official websites, but what is displayed is still the same, namely the backward time counter video.

Previously, fans made various speculations over Linkin Park's mysterious upload.

Rumors of a female singer who will become a new vocalist to replace the late Chester Bennington have strengthened again. Many fans believe that the countdown counter is to announce a new vocalist.

The announcement of a new singer!! wrote one fan in the comments column.

"I hope they announce a new singer, the LP deserves to continue their legacy," wrote another fan.

However, fans have also questioned other speculations. Some predict that the California-based nu metal band wants to announce the release of new works until plans to hold concerts again.

"A new song that hasn't been released yet," wrote one fan.

In addition to fan speculation, Metal Injection predicts that what Linkin Park wants to announce is their reunion show in 2025.

The reason is, the official Welcome To Rockville account, a music festival in Florida, United States, has re-loaded Linkin Park's upload on Instagram Story.
