James Alyn Calls Indonesia A Potential Music Market In Southeast Asia

JAKARTA - In recent years, more and more musicians from Southeast Asian countries have held concerts in Indonesia.

James Alyn, a former HYBS personnel from Thailand who recently debuted as a soloist, became one of the musicians who had a memorable experience when holding concerts in Indonesia.

Alyn does not deny that Indonesia is referred to as a large music market in Southeast Asia, considering that the population is much more than other countries.

"I think there are a lot of good musicians in Indonesia. So, I don't think it's surprising that the music market is also good," said James Alyn during a recent virtual interview with VOI.

I think there is a lot of potential. People also have a good taste in music, and they are very enthusiastic about concerts. I think the opportunity is open," continued Alyn.

With his past experience, Alyn stated that she would not refuse if asked to return to holding concerts in Indonesia.

Furthermore, Alyn also sees that the connectivity of music actors in Southeast Asia has gone quite well. From his experience so far, he feels lucky to be able to meet people from different cultures.

"Crazy, about two or three years ago, I thought I could tour a lot of countries and reach a lot of fans around the world just a dream. And really, my dream just came true," said Alyn.

"It's crazy, I can work with many talented musicians, tour to many great countries, and feel their culture," he added.

"Yes, I can make music that I like and can make it a job, make a living, that's all I can ask for. So, I feel very blessed and I appreciate everyone who supports me, listen to me right now. I feel no matter what happens, it's like a dream to be in my current position.
