Jordan Astra, Indonesian-Canadian Bloody Musician Throws After Midnight As New Single

JAKARTA - Singer and producer Jordan Astra released a new work this summer. The musician of Indonesian and Canadian descent came with a new single titled 'After Midnight'.

Exploring many soul and R&B genres, Jordan combines Pharrell Williams and Jamiloquai styles of music. There is also a splash of colors from Bruno Mars and SG Lewis, which he mixes into sound that is attached to his music identity.

Single 'After Midnight' captures the feel of the nights in the summer. When the sun is set in the distance, and while we are relaxing in the pool. Jordan's latest song was produced by Finnish producer, Mysha.

He sent 'After Midnight' to Jordan last year and was supposed to be included in Jordan's EP MAN FROM EAST which was released in 2023.

We've always wanted to make a song that takes elements from our favorite people and bands. The genre R&B and the music we make are the kind of music that makes the atmosphere fun," Jordan said in a written broadcast.

Jordan's career started in college by making music beats. From there he started producing a number of Canadian musicians for several years.

However, Jordan felt that his career had not grown rapidly. He also decided to take control and get out of the behind the scenes.

The new EP Far Deeper is ready to be released this year. Far Deeper is the 2nd volume of its EP trilogy to discuss topics about uncertainty and courage to take the opportunity. Jordan recently joined the Mind of a Genius Records label which is home to musicians such as Gallant, Zhu, and ATY.
