Not Even A Year Yet, Death Vomit Depak Agustinus Widi From The Vocal Position

JAKARTA - The death metal band from Yogyakarta, Death Vomit decided to separate from Agustinus Widi who filled the vocal position. This news is quite surprising considering the vocalist only joined last year.

The news was confirmed directly by Widi. The former Deadsquad vocalist made a statement via Instagram stating that he had been removed from Death Vomit.

"Starting today July 14, 2024, I am Agustinus Widi, has been issued by the Management Death Vomit," wrote Agustinus Widi.

However, Widi did not provide further explanation regarding the reasons for his departure from the band. The vocalist is actually grateful for the experience that has been given by the band that was formed since 1995.

On the other hand, Death Vomit has not yet responded to Agustinus Widi's statement.

Meanwhile, the single 'Divine Heretic' released in November 2023 became the first work Death Vomit and Widi produced in a vocal position.

With the formation of Widi (vocals), Oki Haribowo (guitar), Ari Kristiono (bass), and Roy Agus (drums), Death Vomit appeared at the 2024 Jogja ROKarta Festival last January.

Widi's departure from the vocal position made Death Vomit only inhabited by three personnel. There has been no further news regarding the new vocalist who will fill the position left behind.
