Turtles Jr Becomes The First Indonesian Band To Appear At Hellfest 2024 In France

JAKARTA - Not only Voice of Baceprot recorded history at the Glastonbury Festival, a punk band from Bandung, Turtles Jr. also listed his name as the first Indonesian performer to perform at the Hellfest Open Air Festival which took place at the CLisson, France last week.

The band consisting of Bood (vocals), Buux Frederiksen (guitar, vocals), Robby Dohem (bass), and Boentar (drums) kicked the Hellfest stage on 27 June.

For Turtles Jr, appearing at the world's loud music festival is a dream come true. They are delighted to share the stage with Metallica, Tom Morello, Simple Plan, to Foo Fighters.

Thank you Hellfest Open Air Festival for making our dream come true as the first Indonesian band to play on the Hell stage, Turtles Jr wrote in a description of Instagram uploads.

This opportunity was also taken by the personnel to witness the performances of the bands they admired. In fact, they took selfies with other performers, such as David Rodriguez and Jake Kolatis from The Casalties.

In his appearance, Turtles Jr did not appear alone, they also invited another Indonesian artist, Dellu Uyee.

In addition to appearing at the Hellfest Open Air Festival, Turtles Jr also toured Europe. They visited several other countries, such as Germany, Italy, and Switzerland.
