Jamie Miller And Secondhand Serenade Become Headliners For The Sounds Project 2024

JAKARTA - The Sound's Project through its official Instagram account has announced James Miller and Secondhand Serenade as performers from abroad who became headliners this year.

"JAMIE MILLER LIVE IN JAKARTA," wrote The Sounds Project in the caption of the upload, Thursday, June 20.

Singer and songwriter Jamie Miller is 26 years old multi-instrumentalist from England. He became known after attending The Voice UK in 2017. Three years later, he had the opportunity to join Atlantic Records, and release his debut EP in 2017.

Here's Your Perfect is Miller's best known hit, with more than 400 million streams worldwide. Other songs that are also known include Maybe Next Time, It is What it Is, and I Lost Myself In Loving You.

Meanwhile, Secondhand Serenade will visit Indonesia for the umpteenth time. The Sounds Project welcomes the presence of the band from California, United States.

"We are very pleased to announce that this is the first time John Vesely has played at this festival," wrote The Sounds Project's Instagram account.

With Secondhand Serenade, John Vesely (vocals, guitar) has released three studio albums, namely "Awake" (2007), "A Twist on My Story" (2008), and "Hear Me Now" (2010).

In addition to the two names above, The Sound's Project 2024 also presents several collaborations, such as Rumah Kaca x Bara Suara Effect, Killing Me Reunion x Vierratale, Sore x Bilal Indrajaya, and Winky Wiryawan x Whisnu Santika.

Dozens of Indonesian musicians and music groups were also confirmed to perform, including Ali, DMasiv, Danilla, Guyon Waton, Morfem, Nadin Amizah, Sal Priadi, The Adams, The Changcuters, TRI.A.D., Ziva Magnolya, and many more.

For information, the seventh edition of The Sound's Project will last for three days at the Ancol Ecopark, North Jakarta, August 9-11.
