Lyla Shares Joy Through Spring Sumatra Album

The eight-year wait for Lyla ends with the release of a new album titled Season Home. This album is the first for Lyla with the latest formations, namely Ario (vocals), Fare (guitar), Dennis (bass), Dharma (keyboards), and Difin (drums)

The 'Season Home' is the answer toIL's concerns seeing music launches more as singles than albums. Naturally, they started their careers since 18, when the music industry was colored by the number of music albums on the market.

The album title itself was chosen with in-depth consideration, where in the last eight years there have been Lyla personnel seeing it as a tough time. The term Season' itself describes a season where joy and pleasure come after a tough season has passed.

"The spring analogy is a fun and cheerful season, but previously there was a difficult season. Well, here we illustrate that this album indicates we have gone through that difficult season," said Fare during a press conference in Kemang, South Jakarta, Wednesday, June 19.

The fun that is meant is presented with various music colors that are presented. Not only that, but Lyla also invited several collaborators with unique characters, such as Tasha Bouslama, Aldi Taher, and Tereza Fahlevi.

In addition, Lyla also invited other musicians to fill in the new album, including Nissan Fortz (a jazz musician from Bandung who plays banjo), Hendri Lamiri (a violin player), an angklung player from Manshur Angklung, and Amec (ex- drumer).

Different from the previous album, where only Naga (ex-vocalist) and Fare actively wrote songs, Seamon Home is filled with songs written by each personnel.

"The difference in this album, we are all obliged to contribute (writing songs). So, there is my song, there is also Difin's song, and songs from others," said Dharma.

Sementara itu, Ario yang bergabung dengan Lyla sejak tahun 2020, merasa bersyukur dengan perilisan Jaman Musim Semi. Dia merasa banyak belajar dari personel lain yang sudah berkembilan di industri musik selama 18 tahun.
