Reasons Linkin Park Shares Round Tofu Before Concerts In Jakarta

JAKARTA - The presence of a pickup truck with an ornament that reads 'Linkin Park' has succeeded in attracting the attention of Jakarta residents and netizens on social media. The reason is, the car goes around to distribute tofu snacks.

Warner Music Indonesia as a representative of Linkin Park has confirmed that the presence of the car that distributed tofu came from his side.

Warner said the idea came after seeing how massive the number of Linkin Park fans was in Indonesia.

"We made this idea definitely with research. We see Linkin Park has millions of fans in Indonesia, we want to make something special, which is very close to the community," said Warner Music Indonesia via text message on Sunday, February 16.

"Meeting the idea (sharing) is unanimous. Everyone knows, everyone likes it. This is how we show that Linkin Park is also 'indonesia'," he continued.

The idea of sharing tofu is not the first. Previously, Warner also held several activities to welcome Linkin Park's concert in Jakarta.

Our creative process started from Taman Link in Park in Jakarta. We want to create something memorable for Linkin Park fans. After the discussion, we found fresh ideas to combine round tofu and Taman Link in Park.

Meanwhile, Linkin Park's presence at Jakarta is part of the From Zero World Tour, which aims to celebrate their comeback with the latest formation and release of last year's From Zero album.

The show was held at the Madya Stadium, Gelora Bung Karno, Central Jakarta on Sunday, February 16.

This is Linkin Park's third concert in Indonesia. Previously, they had visited Jakarta in 2004 and 2011.
