JAKARTA - A magnificent performance was held again by the Jakarta Concert Orchestra (JCO) with the title "An Anime Symphony: Resonance" on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at the JIEXPO Convention Center & Theater, Kemayoran, Jakarta. This concert is the third concert of a series of anime concerts that have become fans' favorites, and this time it was attended by around 4900 enthusiastic spectators.
Conducted by Avip Priatna, along with Batavia Madrigal Singers, The Resonanz Children Choir (TRCC), and TRC Serunai, this concert performed 23 iconic songs from various popular anime, including InuYasha, Stand By Me Doraemon, Yuri on Ice, Violet Evergarden, Sakura Wars, Cardcaptor Sakura, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Dragon Ball, Friedren: Beyond Journey's End, Mashle: Magic and Muscle, and famous work from Studio Ghibli. The performers also wore changing cosplay costumes according to the anime songs performed, adding to the excitement and uniqueness of this concert.
Jakarta Concert Orchestra opened a concert with the song "Overtaker" one of the popular works of the One Piece anime. At the end of the song, Avip Priatna created an unforgettable moment by creating one of the iconic scenes from One Piece, by giving a straw cap to a small child.
Next Batavia Madrigal Singers (BMS) Female took over the stage by performing a "Letter" song from the anime Violet Evergarden.
