Ungu Releases The First Javanese Song 'Limayang Taun', How Will It Be?

JAKARTA - Ungu has an interesting approach along with their growth as music groups. Carry pop as the root of music, they are not afraid to include other elements in the created works.

Once worked on religious songs, pop-dandut, Pasha et al turned out to be also interested in looking at regional language songs. If they had previously sung Manado songs, now Ungu comes with songs with Javanese lyrics.

Titled 'Limang Taun' (five years), this song tells a story of heartbreak which is often the theme of Javanese songs. Purple packs it with a more pop and banded arrangement.

'Limayang Taun' itself was created by the guitarist Ungu, Enda and his friend, Vais Randi, about five years ago. Initially, the song with the easy listening rock nuance was just their project.

However, the more often you hear, the more suitable you will be with the music that has been carried by UNGU. Finally, Limang Taun became part of the UNGU session studio in The time that was awaited 4.0.

The work, whose lyrics are written in a storytelling format by Vais Randi, tells the story of a person who has been lied to for five years by his partner. As it turned out, during the relationship, there was a third person in their life.

Vais Randi and I often jamming in the studio. That's where the creative process Limang Taun was created. When the song was finished, I told Vais Randi that Limang Taun was performed by UNGU, it must be good and suitable. When I heard Pasha sing this song for the first time, the results were very stunning. You can hear Pasha's power in several parts of the song, and her voice combines nicely with the music presented, "explained Enda.
