Yngwie Malmsteen Hipnotic Audience Hammersonic Festival 2024

JAKARTA - Yngwie Malmsteen isolated thousands of spectators who attended the first day of the Hammersonic Festival at Carnaval Beach Ancol, North Jakarta, Saturday, May 4.

The 60-year-old Virtuoso appeared with three other musicians, namely Nick Marino (keyboard, vocals), Emilio Martinez (bass), Brian Wilson (drums).

As the guitarist most awaited his appearance, Malmsteen managed to make the audience hypnotized by the techniques played. The audience also sang along when songs such as Rising Force' and You Don't Remember, Ill Never Forget were played.

As previously informed, Yngwie Malmsteen appeared with an amplifier wall. On stage, you can see 19 heads and 14 Marshall cabinets neatly arranged.

Malmsteen doesn't talk much, but her fingers surf wildly. Her appearance received a lively welcome at every repertoire break. Not to mention, the Swedish guitarist threw dozens of picks at the audience.

Not to forget, Yngwie Malmsteen also performed with her best songs, which became the standard song for many rock guitarists, such as 'Evil Eye', 'Black Star', Far Beyond The Sun', and Arpeggios from Hell.

Apart from Yngwie Malmsteen, the first day of the Hammersonic Festival 2024 was also enlivened by the appearances of A Day To Remember, Marty Friedman, Saosin, Fear Factory, Nervosa, Stan Atlantic, We the Kings, Suffocation, Cross Faith, Killing Me Inside Re:union, Crypt Crawler, Modern Guns, and many more.

Meanwhile, the second day will be enlivened by performances from St. Loco, Straight Answers, Speaker Up, Jakarta Flames, Annalynn, Ghostline, Hit Lari, Arcade, SLFR, Discrift. Tools of the Trade, Remember of Today, Haunted Era, Engage in Vengeance, Burning Flame.

Furthermore, there are DVRK, Bleeding Through, Converge, Venom Inc, Suicide Silence, HISTORY Index, Atreyu, Blood Red Throne, Cradle of Filth, As I Lay Dying and Lamb of God.
